We have a 5 day Itinerary set up JUST FOR YOU!

Here is a 4 night 5 day Itinerary for you. Well, we technically made it 3 nights and 5 days and just didn’t sleep a day :)
Rented a car from one of the many options near the airport. When we arrived the airport is swarming with different shuttles taking you to your car rental location, be sure and give your location a call and they will shuttle you to your rental area. Tip: be sure and get a all wheel drive or four wheel drive. This so important especially in the winter in Iceland. When you hit your first Iceland winter storm, you will be thanking us!

DAY 1 & 2:
Headed out for the Golden Circle & hit the following:
Thingvellir National Park <- click for more info
Gullfoss Water Fall <- click for more info
The Guyesers <- click for more info
The Canyon : Beautiful thing to see and hike… With how much there is to do however, this is what we would cut from our itinerary but worth a stop if you have time!
We stayed HERE . This beautiful airbnb was a 5 star in my book!

DAY 3:
Seljalandsfoss Waterfall <- click for more info
Skógafoss Waterfall <- click for more info
Snæfellsjökull <- click for more info
(Note and warning: we hit the craziest winter storm of our lives! Both J and I grew up in Michigan so used to crazy storms. But between 50 mlp hour winds, snow, sleet, complete darkness and a complete white out… oh and in mountains we’ve never been in! It was the craziest drive our life but made it to VIK but this did take from our time and had to reschedule some things!)

Dinner at VÃkurskáli more info HERE
Drinks at Smiðjan Brugghús
We stayed at VIK Icelandair Hotels (unplanned but had to because of a massive storm. Beautiful place!)
Day 4:
Head to Jökulsárlón.
First up was Diamond Beach which was a perfect name for this Ice beach!
Ice cave Tour through Arctic Adventures: Our tour guide was the coolest & the time spent sliding and hiking around the caves is a once in a life time experience! More info HERE
Drove back to VIK and had dinner & drinks at Smiðjan Brugghús & stayed HERE< Very nice clean and fun location!
