Our time in Italy was mixed with classics and some days of just enjoying the town. Highly recommend knowing some of the language. A wonderful resource to learn right along with your kids is, TalkBox.Mom !
We stayed at a local airbnb. I'm not putting it on here because I would not recommend it:) Be sure and do research. Also, if you are getting in late be sure and research and communicate how check in is.
Food: Anywhere you go is going to be amazing! We suggest finding a local tea shop and even if you aren't a tea drinker- try it. Just amazing pastries everywhere you go as well. The stands that are everywhere with food are all so delicious as well! Check this out if you want more fine dining!
