Flying Internationally with Kids - by Erinn Schapp

International flights are amazing but quite long so the key is sleeping to pass lots of time. Eye masks are a must.
Pack cozy jammies, a lovie, slippers, blankets - anything to make it as cozy and as close to bedtime as possible.
Don’t forget - a toothbrush! When you wake up from sleeping lots of hours, you’ll want to start over fresh for the remaining flight time and when you arrive at your destination!

The food in international flights are usually based on the origin of the country you’re heading to. Say heading to Africa or Asia, they may serve Curry. Say heading to AMSTERDAM, you’ll be getting fish and chips or the yummy stroop waffle cookie. Trying new foods on an airplane isn’t always the easiest for kids, so make sure to pack something you know they’ll eat when they get hungry, after trying the different cuisines served in-flight. If sleeping is difficult on flights, try melatonin. We love the gummy version. All-natural and safe for adults and kids. Here’s the brand we like: Natrol Melatonin Sleep Aid Gummy If you’re bringing your pet, they make melatonin for dogs too! NaturVet Quiet Moments Calming Aid Dog Supplement – Helps Promote Relaxation, Reduce Stress, Storm Anxiety, Motion Sickness for Dogs – Tasty Pet Soft Chews with Melatonin – 70 Ct.
