Adventuring in town, in the mountains or in your backyard- you want the absolute best for your kids. While you may go 'cheap' on yourself, don't go cheap on your kids. Protecting them while adventuring is one of the best things you can do for them! Happy, comfortable kids will make for more adventures and better memories! From their website:
"We believe what is good for our kids is good for the environment. All Reima products are free from PVC’s, which are bad for the environment and your kids. We also make products that last, which reduces your carbon footprint because that snowsuit you bought for your oldest kid still works for your youngest kid 6 years later. We create mono-material clothing that can be fully recycled into new clothing and even used recycled water bottles to create our swimwear. We make clothes that are meant for and designed for kids because isn’t that the way it should be?"HERE IS @thirdcoasttribe TOP PICKS!
BASE LAYERING - so important to have insulated undergarments to stay warm. Also if you live in a place like we do, the weather is so unpredictable. This is when the base layer becomes the most important layer. That base layer is directly on your child's skin, so making sure this is the safest, coziest layer is our first thought. Reima has so many amazing, safe options for this.
Gloves: Look for the reflective glow sylte gloves. Most of their gloves also have a zip on them - which I don't know about you but for a mother of toddlers this is a game changer for me!
Hats: Well, it's official.. my soft spot is seeing any toddler or baby in a beanie! Of course Reima hats are warm & amazing quality but they will have you all sorts of heart eyes!
Snowsuits: After moving from toasty Arizona to blistering cold Michigan a few years back, we didn't want the girls to loose their love for the outdoors just because of weather. These one piece snowsuits did the trick! Reima's snowsuits have made it so we don't have to stop adventuring in the winter. We are happy, warm and can still play in the snow! They have thought of every detail - waterproof, reflective pieces, sturdy boot straps for the bottom to keep tm snug.
The jackets they have are clear on what they are for. Protection from wind, rain, snow & more! Stylish & unique to fit each shape, size & personality!
UV SAFETY OPTIONS:
Wearing sunblock is a known thing to keep your kids safe from the sun... but what about their clothing as well? We love how Reima has USV safe clothing! These swimsuits were made from recycled milk jugs, how cool!
Style is very important to my girls (yes, even at 6 and 3!) and Reima does a great job of making your kids aren't just safe, but stylish too! We love all the options they have for layers, even in the summer!
Hats: My girls learned from a young age that wearing a hat was a must in our family while outside. I remember countless times on the trail J picking a hat back up and Remy throwing it back down... The never ending battle! Now both Jade & Remy actually prefer wearing a hat! In the end, we all win!
Sunglasses - don't underestimate the important in these.. .start you kids at a young age getting used to wearing sunglasses to keep their eyes healthy and safe!
