On trail activities:
Paint what you see!
Our favorite thing we've done is bring along a canvas and some paints! Where ever you decide stop and set up your mini easel and paint away!
Every mile the kids do, have a small snack or mini toy they get! More ideas on this below.
Nature Art Hunt
Find special nature things that are dead or on the ground and take it home to make nature art! See liist below!
Story Time
Along the trail, our favorite thing is to make up stories. One person gets a turn at a time to tell the most extravagant make believe story!
Hiking Bingo
Bingo on the trail is so fun! once you have three in a row, you win! Check out the bingo we've made below :)
Track It!
Settiinig new goals and using a trackor can really help! Kids and adults love tow atch their progress on the trail! Here's a watch we like.

Esepcially at night hikes, but this is a great way to enjoy a hike anytime of day!
Walkie Talkies
Our girls love to run ahead on the trail and call back. It's also fun to hide behind a tree and scare other hikers (but we didn't tell you this :))
Fidgets
Fidiets are a great wayt o keep your hands busy while hiking!
Bug Net or Kit
Catching bugs is one of our favorite things! You can see all kinds of interesting things while doing this. Be sure and learn about each one.
